Aloha, I’m Benji Pow. (formerly of Taylor/Monroe in Hayes Valley) I’m so excited to bring my balayage & hair services to the Lower Haight. I enjoy what I do and focus on giving you a memorable hair experience not only to enhance the look and feel of you hair but also how you feel about yourself. My goal is to make it easy for you to manage your hairstyle and hair color by delivering the results you’ve been searching for. 

Having 15+ years experience with a wide range of hair textures- from straight to curly, dense and fine- I understand that clients are looking for a professional who listens to what you need, knows how to interpret your ideas and communicate what it takes to deliver a look that aligns with your lifestyle and styling capabilities.

Outside of the salon I indulge in spa services like massages, facial and lash perms. Like my clients, I too like to get pampered. Some mornings I join my partner in taking our dog Disco out for fetch at Golden Gate Park or a walk along the shoreline at Crissy Field. His new excitement for water is a joy to watch. 

All of my services are GRATUITY FREE, no gratuity necessary. My hourly rate covers my service fee, breaking away from the traditional tip-culture, eliminating the guessing game on how much your service will be. I’m looking forward to working wit you.
